چکیده
Peach is a temperate fruit species that cultivated under various edaphoclimatic conditions all over the world. In Brazil, in early 1950s, peaches were planted only Sao Paulo state and Southern states, harvest period was restricted to 15 days. Currently, mainly due peach breeding programs, it subtropical areas even high altitude tropical areas, with of 100 Knowledge genetic, phenotypic environmental parameters influence characters economic importance crucial for guiding programs. The objectives this study estimate heritability phenological characters, evaluate their distribution within populations, test possible existence maternal effect relationship these traits brown rot incidence (Monilinia fructicola). performed Pelotas, RS, Brazil during 2015-2016 to2017-2018 seasons. Sixteen first generation (F1) progenies evaluated, 10 them being reciprocal crosses. All genotypes same area, cultural practices (without fungicide application). Full bloom considered when more than 50% flowers open, harvest, fruits reached commercial maturity, development calculated by difference between full dates. Brown estimated percentage symptoms. Broad-sense estimates date, (95 98%), narrow-sense heritabilities medium (65 72%). A segregation suggests on heritability, date. three significantly correlated, date had negative significant correlation (-0.12) incidence.

Monilinia Species Causing Brown Rot of Peach in China
In this study, 145 peaches and nectarines displaying typical brown rot symptoms were collected from multiple provinces in China. A subsample of 26 single-spore isolates were characterized phylogenetically and morphologically to ascertain species. Phylogenetic analysis of internal transcribed spacer (ITS) regions 1 and 2, glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase (G3PDH), β-tubulin (TUB2) reveale...
متن کاملFine-Scale Genetic Structure of Monilinia fructicola During Brown Rot Epidemics Within Individual Peach Tree Canopies.
The purpose of this study was to determine the fine-scale genetic structure of populations of the brown rot pathogen Monilinia fructicola within individual peach tree canopies to better understand within-tree plant pathogen diversity and to complement previous work on spatiotemporal development of brown rot disease at the canopy level. Across 3 years in a total of six trees, we monitored diseas...
متن کاملHeritability of polychotomous characters.
Characters with phenotypic expression consisting of a response in one of several mutually exclusive and exhaustive categories are considered. Formulae relating heritability in the discrete, outward scale to heritability in underlying normal and exponential scales are presented. For the normal case with two response categories, results reduce to the well-known formula for heritability of binary ...
متن کاملBrown Rot of Potato
Brown rot, also known as bacterial wilt, is one of the most destructive diseases of potato. The disease has been estimated to affect about 3.75 million acres in approximately 80 countries throughout the world with global damage estimates currently over $950 million per year. The disease is known to occur in the wet tropics, sub-tropics and some temperate regions of the world. In the United Stat...

H E amount of selection pressure applied on the phenotypic level to T metric characters can be expressed in terms of the selection differential, defined as the extent of superiority of the individuals which are the parents of the next generation (weighted for the relative number of offspring they produce) over the average of their own generation. For characters showing a discontinuous distribut...
